Jersey productions merit recognition, too

Best Play Revival:
"Amadeus" and "The Time of Your Life" (Shakespeare Theatre of New Jersey,
Madison); "Death of a Salesman" (Luna Stage Company, Montclair); "The Glass
Menagerie" and "Macbeth" (Two River Theater Company).
Winner:
"Amadeus." Peter Shafer's play about mediocrity was anything but
mediocre. Style and substance ruled the day.
Best Leading Play Actor:
Robert Cuccioli ("Amadeus"); Matthew Arkin ("The Scene"); Frankie R. Faison
("Death of a Salesman"); Sherman Howard ("A Christmas Carol," Shakespeare
Theatre of New Jersey); Andrew Weems ("The Time of Your Life").
Winner:
Cuccioli. Salieri is one of the toughest roles in modern drama, asking its actor to play both a young and old man, who's at first a confident composer and then a devastated one. Cuccioli conquered it all, while staying on stage every minute
