The New-York Historical Societys American Musicals Project presented Some Enchanted Evenings: The Songs of Richard Rodgers, four concerts celebrating the centenary of composer Richard Rodgers. Through two historic collaborations and dozens of shows and movies, Rodgers, a life-long New Yorker, was one of the people most responsible for creating the great American art form: the Broadway musical. All performances were hosted by musical theater experts and feature a cast of Broadway performers.
