Benefit Concert, Stuck In The Zipper: The Songs of Joe Drymala & Eric Svejcar, at Zipper Theater

The concert benefited the Matthew Shepard Foundation and the Southern Poverty Law Center,and feature the music of young composers Joe Drymala and Eric Svejcar

Tony nominee Robert Cuccioli (Jekyll and Hyde, currently starring in Jacques Brel Is Alive... ), Harris Doran (Actor's Fund benefit of Hair), Andrew Keenan-Bolger (Beauty and the Beast, Seussical), Tyler Maynard (Altar Boyz), Kacie Sheik (Las Vegas's We Will Rock You), and Kate Wetherhead (Spelling Bee, Sarah Plain and Tall), will perform in a one-time performance featuring new music from composers Joe Drymala and Eric Svejcar (currently the Musical Director of the acclaimed revival of Jacques Brel Is Alive..., also playing at the Zipper Theater).   Ryan J. Davis directs.

The concert, entitled, “Stuck In The Zipper,” will benefit the Matthew Shepard Foundation and the Southern Poverty Law Center.  The performers premiered songs from new summer musicals White Noise (Drymala) and Prince Hal of Soho (Svejcar), as well as material from Svejcar’s 2004 NYMF Audience Award Winner Caligula and Drymala’s upcoming The Golden City.
