B
roadway star of 'Jekyll and Hyde,' Robert Cuccioli
stops by to talk about his career and his work in new musicals. Bob has
had an illustrious career on Broadway, in regional theaters, and roles
in many television programs.
He made his Broadway debut as "Javert"
in Les Miserables,
after which he was cast in the title role of
Jekyll and Hyde. For
this role, Bob won the JOSEPH JEFFERSON AWARD, OUTER CRITICS CIRCLE
AWARD,
the DRAMA DESK AWARD, and the FANY AWARD and was honored with a
prestigious TONY nomination for “Best Actor in a Musical.” Since then,
Bob has been busy performing in and directing productions around
the country, including The Secret Garden,
Enter the Guardsmen,
The
Pajama
Game,
Antony and Cleopatra,
Victor/Victoria,
The Threepenny Opera,
Carousel,
Guys & Dolls,
Bells Are Ringing,
A Little Night Music,
and Funny Girl.
Bob has directed several shows, including regional productions of
Jekyll and Hyde.
